Now many people have a resistance to the performance appraisal, because the traditional performance appraisal has some problems both in theory and in practice. Excessive improvement of employee performance and continual improvement of ability depends on the reward and punishment system, thus bringing negative influence. Performance appraisal is only a part of performance management, managers are not simply to judge the quality of staff to implement it, but to achieve promotion
