This article describes a numerical experiment on the appearance and reduction of artifacts that interfere with reconstructed images. One of the causes of the illusion is the limitations of the inspection system. Numerical experiments show that these artifacts are caused by the geometric limitations of the inspection system. In addition, numerical experiments also show that the appearance of artifacts is related to the reconstruction algorithm used. Therefore, we try to reduce this illusion by iterative reconstruction, which includes two different algorithms, ILST and SIRT. In general, these algorithms result in stable and weak distortion patterns, all of which place some reasonable limits on these algorithms. However, the results of the numerical experiments conducted here show that the combination of two different methods of unrestricted algorithms, which the authors call “alternating”, can to a certain extent reduce these illusions. Further research is necessary, but we expect that the alternative method of imposing restrictions on the algorithm will prove to be effective.
