新时期以来,各种或新或旧的社会思潮渐次兴替,戏剧观念的驳杂程度,超过了历史上任何一个时期。而其对戏剧的生存与发展亦产生着现实的影响。将辽宁的戏剧舞台创作置于全国的大环境中,我们会发现,现实主义的戏剧理念始终占据着主流文化的地位,先锋实验的戏剧作品很难有大的发展。与北京、上海等文化观念开放的城市相比,辽宁的戏剧演出活动较少,戏剧观念尚显陈旧,观众也比较缺乏热情……

Compared with cities with open cultural concepts such as Beijing and Shanghai, there are fewer theatrical performances in Liaoning, the notion of drama is still obsolete, and the audiences are less enthusiastic.
