Objective: To investigate the clinical significance of Bacillus subtilis two live bacteria (Mommy love) in the prevention and treatment of neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). Methods: A total of 250 preterm infants hospitalized from November 2009 to April 2011 were divided into prevention group (126 cases) and control group (124 cases) according to the case-control study. Except for the cause of disease and reasonable feeding, the two groups were treated within 24 hours Mommy love oral. Results: In the prevention group, 4 cases were diagnosed as NEC with a prevalence of 3.17%, while 18 cases in the control group were diagnosed as NEC with a prevalence of 14.52% .NEC prevalence in preterm infants in prevention group was significantly lower than that in control group There was statistical significance (P <0.05). Conclusion: The prophylactic use of B. subtilis viable combined with B. subtilis can significantly reduce the occurrence of NEC in preterm infants. It may be related to the combination of B. subtilis and B. subtilis to promote the colonization and predominance of normal intestinal flora in preterm infants.
