天津市种子公司选育的菜豆新品种——津早架豆,早熟、耐旱、丰产、优质。1992年通过天津市品种审定委员会审定。 津早架豆株高2.65米,第一花序位于2节,每序结荚3个以上。荚形扁圆,荚长17.7厘米,荚厚0.72厘米,荚色绿,豆粒小,荚内无空腔,籽粒浅棕色。比锦州双季豆早熟5天,抗锈病能力增强,增产24.7％。津京两地春秋种植均宜,亩产量2000公斤左右。经粤、桂、川、黔等地引种,表现良好,效益明显。
