疟疾的备用治疗（Ｓｔａｎｄ－ｂｙｔｈｅｒａｐｙ）是指在发热和流感样症状出现且无处及时求医时服用自备抗疟药。本文综述备用治疗这一概念的基本原则、可供选择的药物、影响治疗用药的因素以及在日益增长的对常规药物抗性情况下各种药物的效果和毒性。氯喹作为备用治疗药物的可能性很有限。
