法律英语并不是大学英语的一种延伸,而是通过英语学习法律,特别是英美国家的法律制度,也就是说法律英语是法律的学习而非英语的学习。因此,法律英语教育的根本着眼点不应该是“语言目标”而是“知识目标”。在法律英语教学过程中应当以培养学生学习法律英语的兴趣为核心,坚持法律英语词汇教学中的法律文化导入和构建法律英语教学中的特定场景的教学方法。 Legal English is not an extension of College English, but learning the law through English, especially the legal system of Anglo-American countries. That is to say, legal English is a law study rather than an English study. Therefore, the fundamental point of legal English education should not be “language target” but “knowledge target”. We should insist on the introduction of legal culture in legal English vocabulary teaching and the teaching methods of constructing specific scenes in legal English teaching.
