一个屠城的梦魇,回旋在我们脑际70年;一段数十万人的血泪和屈辱,我们诉说了70年。70年前的梦魇时刻,到底发生了什么?伤痛又该如何记忆?这是我们问了几十年的问题。2年前,张纯如英文写作的纪实文学登上《纽约时报》书评排行榜,今年,好莱坞纪录电影《南京》在东西方院线放映;去年年底,南京大屠杀纪念馆接待了8个西方背景的摄制组。那段被忽略的历史,突然进入了全球视野的历史讲述中。2007年,中国对南京大屠杀记忆和讲述的接力棒也传到了更年轻的导演手中。南京,成为2007年艺术关注的一个焦点。它已不仅是只属于中国人的历史。当我们的历史学家和艺术家不再仅仅把愤怒和屠杀场面作为历史表达的惟一内容时,我们也许才会真正进入这段历史——那段我们与其他经历了战争的国家和民族都共有的历史。
A massacre nightmare, circling in our minds for 70 years; a period of hundreds of thousands of people's bloodshed and humiliation, we told 70 years. 70 years ago, the nightmare moment, in the end what happened? How to remember the pain? This is what we asked for decades. Two years ago, Zhang Chunru's English-language documentary literature boarded the New York Times book review list. This year, the Hollywood documentary film “Nanjing” was shown on the east-west cinema. At the end of last year, the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall hosted eight films of western background group. That neglected history suddenly entered the historical narrative of global perspective. In 2007, China also passed the memory of the Nanjing Massacre and its relay baton to younger directors. Nanjing, became a focus of art in 2007. It has not only belonged to the Chinese history. When our historians and artists no longer treat mere anger and slaughter as the only expression of history, we may actually enter this history - a period in which we shared it with other nations and nations that experienced war history.
