May 13， after nearly 10 months of investigation， Ling Jihua， former vice chairman of the CPPCC Twelfth National Committee and former minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central who suspected of bribery， illegal possession of state secrets， had been formally indicted by the Supreme People’s Procuratorate. In accordance with the law for the designation of jurisdiction， Ling would be transferred to the Tianjin Municipal People’s Procuratorate first branch for prosecution.
　　Tianjin City People’s Procuratorate indictment goes that：The defendant Ling Jihua has served as Deputy director of the general office of the CPC Central Committee， Director secretary of the Sec- retariat of the CPC Central Committee， Minister of the central United Front Work Department， Vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese people’s political consultative conference. He benefited a lot from illegally accepting other people’s bribery； Illegally obtained state secrets， which has serious affect； abused his power by taking advantage of the interests from public property， which made the state and the people subject to heavy losses. Based on all his crimes， he shall be prosecuted for criminal liability.
　　This is the first time in 10 months Ling Jihua case gains progress. In July， 2015， Ling Jihua was discard from the Communist Party and removed from his position as a officer. Later， he was formally under judicial investigation.
