郁达夫说过:“北京是具城市之外形,而又富有乡村景象之田园都市。”此言不无道理。朝代更迭,世事变迁,老北京在精神上仍然像一座大乡村。或者说,是田园诗一样的城市。这里不仅镌刻着王侯将相荡气回肠的岁月,更书写着布衣百姓繁衍生息的日子。2009年度我刊特选登洪烛《阅读北京》一书中的六篇文章:《从皇史到图书馆》《月光照耀北京城》《长城情结》《天安门传》《阳光灿烂的大院》和《西山不见使人愁》。在作者的笔下,图书馆、长城、部队大院等都是京城平民的乐土。 Yu Dafu said: “Beijing is a city with a shape, but rich rural scenery idyllic city.” Changes in the dynasties, changes in the world, the old Beijing is still mentally like a big country.
