系统功能语言学(又称系统功能语法)重视语言的多样性与功能性。不同于传统语法提供的各种语法规则,系统功能语法是传统语法的丰富和补充。本文简要介绍了韩礼德的系统功能语言学理论的含义,并分析了该理论在大学公共英语教学中的实际应用,阐明了系统功能语法学应用于大学英语教学中,可以帮助学生更好地理解作者的交际意图,有效地开发学生运用语言的潜力.提高学生的英语综合应用能力。同时,系统功能语言学的相关理论也给教师提供了一些理解语篇、了解其文化背景的有效方法,为大学公共英语教学提出了很多具有科学性和实践性的启示。
Systemic functional linguistics (also known as system function grammar) attaches great importance to the diversity and functionality of the language. Different from the grammatical rules provided by the traditional grammar, the system functional grammar is the enrichment and supplement of the traditional grammar. This article gives a brief introduction of Halliday’s systematic functional linguistic theory, and analyzes its practical application in college public English teaching. It expounds that system functional grammar can be used in college English teaching to help students better understand the author Communicative intention to effectively develop the potential of students to use the language to improve students’ comprehensive English proficiency. At the same time, the related theories of Systematic Functional Linguistics also provide some effective ways for teachers to understand texts and understand their cultural background, and provide many scientific and practical enlightenments for college public English teaching.
