本文以新疆本土画家王征在北京798艺术区珊和羽画廊展出的《石窟意象》系列绘画为文本案例,从文化研究的视角出发,结合作家的绘画文本与实践经验,详细阐释了其作品中所体现的文化游牧主义意识,梳理并归纳了作者文本呈现出的文化游牧主义范式,认为其绘画实践由于兼顾了绘画作品表层结构中想要传播什么的意义能指和绘画作品深层结构中实际传播什么的意义所指,而成为文化跨界传播与绘画实践相结合的一个成功案例。
