It is of vital importance that we identify the nature of the profound changes in the international power configuration and big power relations.It is not enough to simplify the issue into a debate of whether the opportunities outweigh the challenges for China or whether the environment is beneficial or not.In short,things have changed greatly.China is no longer what it was two or three decades ago.China has evolved into a chief player in these global transformations.The author of this paper would like to offer some observations on China's international environment from an economic perspective.
