城市轨道交通作为集约化、快速化的公共交通方式,是大城市交通优先发展的主要方向,然而对于三线城市而言,面临着是否有必要发展轨道交通,发展哪种形式的轨道交通,如何发展等这些实实在在的问题。基于此,本文分析了三线城市发展轻轨交通的必要性,选择同等规模的美国丹佛,分析他们发展轻轨交通的过程,尤其是重点分析他们轻轨线网规划特点,对其线网规划的经验进行归纳总结,以期为我国三线城市发展轻轨交通提供参考,并可将这些经验应用在具体轻轨线网规划实践中。
