2005年9月28日是孔子2556岁诞辰,世界各地都举行了祭孔仪式,央视首次直播了“2005全球联合祭孔”。台北孔庙也在9月27日、28日分别举办纪念孔子诞辰2556周年的释奠习仪和释奠典礼。我弄不清“释奠”何义,猜测“习仪”大约是“演习”?这祭孔的仪式,连曲阜的主祭人都茫然无所适从,我辈更蒙查查不敢置喙了。据闻,台湾的台南孔庙祭孔很正统,以成书院所依循的“释奠”典礼是清康熙52年所颁制的仪式,一揽子规矩成龙配套。祖国大陆西南边陲小城云南省建水县传承着一套祭孔规则,正所谓“礼失求诸野”;海外则有韩国、日本的儒教组织保存着华夏祭孔旧礼。在我看来,祭孔仪式的细节如何,并不重要。演秦皇汉武到慈禧光绪历代帝王的戏多了,咱也未曾较真秦始皇到底是什么口音、光绪皇帝穿什么质料的衣服,优孟衣冠像那么回事就得了。祭孔规模和声势这么大,一年更比一年强,原在我的意料之中。既有几年来祭孔的
