探讨知识引用的几个问题，认为在知识生产中，知识引用和知识创新共同起作用且不可或缺；在不同的知识领域中，知识引用呈现出不同的情形，当前知识生产特点的形成与知识引用密切相关。分析了知识引用的标示、引用量及引用的发展趋势等问题。
