美陆军未来战斗系统共有18+1+1种独立的系统,武装机器人车辆、小型无人地面车辆、多功能通用/后勤机器人车辆是其确定主要开发的三类无人地面车辆。2005年3月美陆军在伊拉克战场上首次使用了机器人。其新研制的多功能通用/后勤机器人车辆已在亚洲防务技术展览会上展出。据美国2001年的《国防授权法案》,在2015年之前,美军将有三分之一的地面车辆是无人化车辆。这预示着不远的将来,无人车辆将会主宰未来战场。
There are a total of 18 + 1 + 1 independent systems for the US Army Combat System. Armed robotic vehicles, small unmanned ground vehicles, and multi-purpose general / rear-end robot vehicles are the three major types of unmanned ground vehicles identified for their development. In March 2005, the U.S. Army first used robots on the Iraqi battlefield. Its newly developed multi-purpose general / logistics robot vehicles have been exhibited at the Asian Defense Technology Exhibition. According to the 2001 U.S. Defense Authorization Act, by 2015, one-third of U.S. ground vehicles will be unmanned vehicles. This indicates that in the near future unmanned vehicles will dominate the future battlefield.
