采用阳离子聚合物聚环氧氯丙烷-二甲胺(EPI-DMA)作为乳化剂、木质素磺酸钠作为分散剂对烷基烯酮二聚体(AKD)进行乳化制备一种新型阳离子AKD乳液。对该新型AKD乳液进行应用研究,包括前期水相制备方法对乳液稳定性的影响、分散剂添加量对乳液性质的影响以及与市售淀粉类AKD乳液进行施胶效果和熟化速度的对比。结果表明:水相制备过程中,应采用木质素磺酸钠作为起始聚电解质,将EPI-DMA加入其中形成多分散性较小的复合物体系,有利于提高乳液稳定性;随着木质素磺酸钠的添加量增加,乳液电荷密度、粒径和稳定性均有改变。试验中最佳添加量为0.30%;与市售淀粉类AKD乳液进行对比,该新型AKD乳液具有更好的施胶效果和更快的熟化速度。
A novel cationic AKD emulsion was prepared by emulsifying alkyl ketene dimer (AKD) with cationic polymer polyepichlorohydrin-dimethylamine (EPI-DMA) as emulsifier and sodium lignosulfonate as dispersant . The application of this novel AKD emulsion was studied, including the influence of the preparation method of the aqueous phase on the stability of the emulsion, the influence of the addition amount of the dispersant on the properties of the emulsion, and the sizing effect and curing speed with the commercial AKD emulsion. The results showed that sodium lignosulphonate should be used as the starting polyelectrolyte in the preparation of aqueous phase, and EPI-DMA should be added to it to form the complex system with smaller polydispersity, which is beneficial to improve the stability of emulsion. With the increase of lignin The addition of sodium sulfonate increased, the emulsion charge density, particle size and stability have changed. The optimum amount of addition was 0.30%. Compared with the commercial starch AKD emulsion, the new AKD emulsion has better sizing effect and faster ripening speed.
