When many people mention modern furniture, they often think it is a new style, beautiful appearance, new materials, new structures and so on. Indeed, these are indeed some of the criteria for judging new furniture. However, the most important criterion for a fair and comprehensive review of their design is the function, which is the requirement of the furniture, not just the shape and the color. Especially from the late 1940s of this century, ergonomics (the United States called Human engineering, Britain, Germany and other European countries said Ergonomics. At present there is no fixed Chinese translation, there are human engineering, or ergonomics.) After entering the field of design , Anthropometry and other data as a test means an important means of design emerged for the functionality of modern furniture to add scientific factors, rather than rely solely on the feeling and experience to explore the functional relationship between the human body and furniture. Since our country has not systematically carried out research work in this field, we can only elaborate on the general common features of human body structure and physiology and use the necessary foreign materials for illustration.
