第四届国际榴辉岩会议(Fourth International Eclogite Conference)于1993年9月6日～10日在意大利科林萨(Consenza)举行。与会者有来自英、法、美、德、意、日、俄、西班牙、希腊、南非、波兰、挪威、瑞士、荷兰、中国等近二十个国家的160余名地质工作者。我国国家地震局地质研究所研究员刘若新和中国科学院地质研究所副研究员翟明国由国家自然科学基金委员会资助参加了会议。中国科学院地球化学研究所研究员曹荣龙也参加了会议。大会宣读论文58篇,墙展22个,会议展示了当前榴辉岩及有关岩石、高压变质作用和大陆 The Fourth International Eclogite Conference was held in Consenza, Italy from September 6 to September 10, 1993. More than 160 geological workers from nearly 20 countries including Britain, France, the United States, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, Spain, Greece, South Africa, Poland, Norway, Switzerland, the Netherlands and China attended the event. Liu Ruoxin, a researcher at the Institute of Geology, State Seismological Bureau of China, and Zhai Mingguo, associate researcher at the Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, participated in the conference funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Cao Ronglong, a researcher at the Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, also attended the conference. The conference read 58 essays and 22 wall shows. The conference showed the current eclogites and related rocks, high-pressure metamorphism and the continent
