研究了甲醇、乙醇、丙醇(正丙醇和异丙醇)、丁醇(正丁醇、异丁醇、仲丁醇和叔丁醇)、乙二醇、丙二醇(正丙二醇和异丙二醇)和丙三醇(甘油)的细胞毒性,分析了甲醇、乙醇、丙醇和丁醇诱导细胞表达HSP68的浓度与其细胞毒性的关系,发现醇的结构和细胞毒性有密切关系,一元醇的烃链越长,细胞毒性越大,多元醇的烃基数与羟基数的比值越大,细胞毒性越大;一元醇的正某醇细胞毒性大于相应的异某醇。醇诱导细胞细胞表达HSP68的浓度低于相应醇的LD50值的14%(LD35±6)。
