Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a disease characterized by disruption of the myelin sheath of the central nervous system and is characterized by a variety of neurological signs and symptoms. Due to (1) the higher incidence of MS in a particular geographic location; (2) the greater risk associated with exposure to an environmental factor before the age of 15; (3) MS patients’ cerebrospinal fluid is present in CSF Of anti-virus antibodies and other reasons, and therefore suspected MS is caused by a viral pathogen. Although previous reports of virus isolation from MS tissues have not been confirmed to date. The authors inoculated two autopsy fresh brain samples of MS patients into coronavirus-specific neonatal rat or cell cultures and isolated two coronaviruses (SD, SK), noting that the coronavirus may be the causative agent of MS.
