The kinetic equation for the oxidation of methanol to methanol over Mo-Ce / SiO 2 catalyst can be expressed as the Redox equation for the methanol and formaldehyde adsorption. When the catalyst particle diameter increases to 3mm, the internal diffusion strongly influences the reaction rate. The catalyst effective factor η can be explained by the approximate method of general velocity equation. Catalyst pore pressure distribution of methanol can be obtained using the following formula:
