国内外传统的砂轮夹紧法兰,在砂轮两端面与法兰之间都有纸柏、皮革或耐油橡胶作衬垫,它的直径稍大于法兰直径。这种砂轮夹紧法兰结构简单,但性能欠佳。国际标准 ISO666-1975(E)“机床-安装平形砂轮的夹紧法兰”和联邦德国标准 DIN6375-1979、1984“机床-用于平形砂轮以螺钉固紧的夹紧法兰”制订的砂轮夹紧法兰均属这类传统结构。我国尚无砂轮夹紧法兰的国家标准或机械工业部部标准,磨床制造厂均按自己的工厂标准制造结构上大同小异,也属这种传统形式。近年来,联邦德国勃伦瑞克工业大学机床与加工技术研究所研制了两种新的砂轮夹紧法兰,通过一系列试验,证实新的砂轮夹紧法兰比传统结构的使用性能好。

In recent years, two new grinding wheel clamping flanges have been developed by the Federal Institute of Machine Tool and Process Technology of the Bremen University of Technology in Germany. Through a series of tests, it has been confirmed that the new grinding wheel clamping flange has better performance than the conventional structure.
