My concern for the process is more than the concern for the conclusion that caring about the truth is more than caring about the truth itself. My goal is to discover the method behind the theory and discover the human wisdom behind the method! This is the inscription of Zhao Xianzhang on the front page of his newly published General Theory of Literature and Art (Jiangsu Literature and Art Publishing House, 1990). Why is the process of caring more concerned than the conclusions? Probably because “process” embodies the course of human exploration of truth. Precisely because of the never-ending and painstaking exploration of the people, we can only find the truth continuously and find new ways and new worlds for discovering new truths. So “exploration” itself condenses human wisdom.
