对短语动词的传统研究主要集中在对它的句法特点的研究而没有深入探究语义。认知语言学则为短语动词的语义解释提供了一条很好的途径。文章尝试运用认知语言学的基本理论对带over短语动词中小品词over的语义、短语动词的整体意义以及动词与小品词的相互作用作以分析,并初步探讨这种分析方法对教学的一些启示。
The traditional research on phrasal verbs mainly focuses on the study of its syntactic features without in-depth exploration of semantics. Cognitive linguistics provides a good way for the semantic interpretation of phrasal verbs.
