高性能的CSCW应用(主要指包含多媒体的同步分布式CSCW应用)是各类CSCW应用中最复杂的一类它不仅要求多点之间多媒体信息的实时传输,还要求复杂的控制及管理功能.本文给出了一种新的基于ATM的高性能CSCW多媒体组通信的体系结构.其中既充分考虑了高性能CSCW系统和应用的通信需求,又充分考虑了ATM底层优势的利用及其对上层通信的影响.本文还介绍了基于此体系结构的高性能CSCW组通信支撑平台的实现.
High-performance CSCW applications (mainly refers to the simultaneous and distributed CSCW applications that include multimedia) are the most complex category of any type of CSCW application. They not only require real-time transmission of multimedia information between multiple points, but also require complex control and management functions. This paper presents a new ATM-based architecture for high-performance CSCW multimedia group communication. Which takes full account of high-performance CSCW system and application of communication needs, and give full consideration to the use of ATM bottom advantage and its impact on the upper communications. This article also introduced the realization of high performance CSCW group communication support platform based on this architecture.
