在世纪末的社会转型中,中国大众文化以其颠覆性与反叛性,成为“文革”后解构革命话语的催化剂;中国大众文化用感官愉悦、读图想象代替了传统的宏大叙事与理论说教,使大众文化呈现出有别于主流文化的新特质;植根于草根阶层的大众文化,因其建构了公共文化空间,又部分地承载着民众对民主化的希冀与祈求。
In the social transformation at the end of the century, with its subversive and rebellious nature, Chinese popular culture became the catalyst for the deconstruction of revolutionary discourse after the “Cultural Revolution.” The Chinese popular culture replaced the traditional grand narrative and theoretical preaching So that the mass culture presents a new trait different from the mainstream culture. The mass culture rooted in the grassroots class partly embodies the hope and prayers of the people in democratization due to the establishment of a public cultural space.
