李明先生于2014年《集邮博览》第12期上发表《“新民主主义中国分区邮票”论》长篇文章,对目前有关“中国解放区邮票”的涵盖和表述提出质疑和批评,主张“应将目前出版的所有《中国解放区邮票目录》、《中国解放区邮票图鉴》、《中国解放区邮票史》等书中所收录的那些‘邮票’更名为‘新民主主义中国分区邮票’,通称‘新中国分区邮票’,简称‘分区邮票’或‘区票’。”认为“这才是对‘区票’完整而正确的涵盖和表述”。
