Filming Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Filming Date: Feb. 3 INFO: Sony A7R, F / 4, 1/160 Seconds, ISO 2000 The Thaipusam Festival was originally a Hindu festival but now only the two countries, Malaysia and Singapore, hold festivals tradition of. On the festive day, a devout Hindu will be physically stitched with silver needles to show his loyalty to the gods, and to pray for God’s blessings by bathing and purifying his evil deeds and foul smells. In order to get a satisfactory picture, we went to Batu Caves at 4:30 in the morning. I chose low-angle shooting to make the picture cleaner because the cameras and lenses were getting wet, but it was worth all the hard work.
