本文叙述了GDB-54型光电倍增管噪声的测量及采用致冷和磁散焦提高信噪比的技术,研究了管子的温度稳定性和时间稳定性。
This paper describes the measurement of noise of GDB-54 photomultiplier tube and the technique of improving signal-noise ratio by using cooling and magnetic defocusing. The temperature stability and the time stability of the tube are studied.
