金华几年来早季制种试验研究结果表明,早制条件下父母本播始历期延长,出叶、分蘖缓慢,抽穗开花快而集中,主茎叶片数和有效积温则相对较稳定,故确定父母本播差及花期相遇标准时应有别于夏制;早制适宜始穗期在7月10~15日,隔离条件好的也可安排在7月16日前后,以利于晚稻早栽高产;早制以早、中熟组合最为适宜,其次是密阳46配组的近熟组合;晚稻以特早熟晚粳品种为宜,制种田成熟早的也可适当搭配中迟熟晚粳糯品种;早制优质高产的技术关键在于安排好父母本播差,建立稳产高产苗穗结构,适当增加“九二0”用量,减轻高温低湿天气对抽穗扬花的不良影响及防止水泥地高温烫种。
