在高度媒介化、高度全球化的现代社会,媒体在国家与国家之间的外交活动中的作用越来越受到重视。然而,媒体外交中的媒体具体扮演着什么样的角色,如何扮演这些角色?现有研究鲜有答案。为此,本文以斯诺登事件为例,通过对我国四家全国性主流报纸(《人民日报》、《环球时报》、China Daily和Global Times)在事件发生前后近八个月时间的相关报道和评论进行分析,研究发现,中国媒体在国际热点事件中发挥外交角色的策略主要有四种:音量调节、声源管理、主题驯化和话语争夺,这四种策略在以面向国内公众为主的中文报纸和以面向国际公众为主的英文报纸中表现略有差异,但总体而言,这些媒体在事件中都扮演着本国政府利益的表达者和声张者角色。
In a highly mediaized and highly globalized modern society, the role of the media in the diplomatic activities between nations and nations is gaining more and more prominence. However, what kind of role does the media in media diplomacy play and how to play these roles? There are few answers to the existing research. To this end, this article takes the Snowden event as an example, and through the reports about the four major national newspapers in China (People’s Daily, Global Times, China Daily and Global Times) nearly eight months before and after the incident And comments, the study finds that there are mainly four strategies for the Chinese media to play their diplomatic role in the international hot issues: volume regulation, sound source management, theme domestication and discourse scramble.
