借Intel Pentium Ⅲ处理器的春风,国内外各大厂商相继推出了各自的超高速新型系统。PCComputing中国易用性实验室测试了其中的佼佼者——Dell公司的Dimension XPS T500。这一机器配备有500MHz Pentium Ⅲ CPU、128M内存、8.4GB硬盘、带有16MB显存的STB nVidiaTNT图形加速卡、40倍速的CD-ROM驱动器以及一个17英寸的彩色显示器。显示器的最大可视范围达到15.9英寸,显示分辨率为1024×768,颜色数为32位真彩色。该机器在性能和易用性方面的表现给我们留下了极其深刻的印象。
