0 Foreword Sustainable development is the textile industry has been the focus of attention. The challenge in the entire supply chain is how to optimize the manufacturing process to meet the growing demand, maintain or reduce costs, and reduce the impact on the environment. In 2011, Cotton Incorporated completed its first study (a project of the Cotton Fund) on the Cotton Industry Life Cycle Inventory Analysis (LCI) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for cotton fibers in the cotton industry. The results show that in the life cycle of cotton garments, the impact of consumer use on the environment is greater than the fiber or textile manufacturing supply chain process, which has great potential to enhance the potential
