Publication of the same research data in two or more journals (duplicate or redundant publication) is a practice that doesnot serve the interest of the medical community.Virtually most medical journals have policies against duplicate publication,and according to the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (http://www.icmje.org),significant infractions should be reported to readers.
