9月14日,交通运输部公路局局长李华在中国公路学会工作汇报会上指出,公路是国民经济的脊梁,养路工是公路建设的脊梁。全国公路养护工作会议上,100个模范养路工和100个模范养护道班(简称“双百”)将受到隆重表彰,他们就是名副其实的“脊梁”。李华表示,这也是将“双百”事迹报道集定名为《脊梁》的主要原因。本期,我们特意从自然来稿中集中选发了几篇人物报道。虽然这些作品笔触还显朴拙,个别地方表述有些生硬,尽管其中的人物并非“双百”中的人物,但这些并不防碍它们通过工作、生活中的点滴,折射公路人无私奉献的精神,展现这些“脊梁”的“硬骨头精神”。
