2006年1月26日,华东电网广域监视分析保护控制系统二期合同在上海正式签约。华东电网广域监视分析保护控制系统旨在解决华东电网运行中的安全稳定问题,将大大提高华东电网的安全稳定运行管理水平,充分挖掘输电潜力,对防止大面积停电事故起到重要作用。该系统一期功能的开发于2004年6月正式开展,经过包括动模试验在内的各种测试考核,包括三态(稳态、暂态、动态)信息平台、电网运行动态监视、事故过程记录和事故后分析、辅助服务质量监测、低频振荡监视、模型和参数离线校核等,并于2005年11月成功投运。二期功能侧重于实现安全稳定在线监视和预警,为调度员提供改善安全稳定性的优化决策支持。华东电网有限公司帅军庆总经理和国电自动化研究院卜凡强院长在合同上签字,华东电网有限公司张启平总工和国电自动化研究院薛禹胜总工等出席了签字仪式。
