肠道微生物对人体健康有着重要的作用,与营养物质吸收和肥胖、糖尿病等代谢性疾病关系密切。从肠道微生物的角度研究疾病发生及防治方法已成热点。高等动物模型存在个体差异大、肠道微生物种类繁多、数量庞大、影响因素多变等弊端。秀丽隐杆线虫(Caenorhabditis elegans),简称线虫,是研究肠道微生物和宿主之间相互作用的良好模式生物,其以大肠杆菌为食物,具有生长周期短、表型易于观察、可实现药物的高通量筛选等优点。如利用线虫模型筛选具有抗致病菌感染的益生菌,同时揭示多种细菌间的相互作用机制。该文对秀丽线虫在肠道微生物与宿主共生关系及相关应用研究进展进行综述。
Intestinal micro-organisms play an important role in human health and are closely related to the absorption of nutrients and the metabolic diseases such as obesity and diabetes.
