The photoelectric method for determining the degree of dispersion of metal powders has many advantages, thus making it possible to obtain a wide range of applications in powder metallurgy. What is described in this article is a new product of photo-deposition photography that we have designed to analyze particle sizes from 2 to 100 microns, especially the dispersion of metal powders. The method for analyzing the degree of dispersion is based on a moving system using a “glow-pulse recorder” which moves at a given speed along a column of suspended solids in a shallow trough. It is well-known that particles below 100 microns in size do not scatter light and therefore can be weighted by the “Мустрева-Харнера” relationship (7) derived from the geometrical optics theorem
