本文根据保立和夫、大越孝敬提出的公式稍加改动。用BASIC语言编制了一个单模光纤截止波长的计算程序。在W—91计算机上计算了各方次律光纤和W型光纤LP_(11)模的归一化截止频率;还计算了抛物分布单模光纤的中间凹陷对其归一化截止频率的影响。只需在计算机上输入光纤芯中的最大折射率n_1、包层折射率n_2、芯半径a及光纤径向从中心到包层的m_1+1个点上折射率等参数,就可通过此程序得到上述光纤LP_(11)模的截止波长。
