我国高校体育教学模式受传统教育思想的束缚,体育教学手段过分强调以运动技能的形成规律组织教学,教学停留在对传统的已有的知识、技能“再现型”的教育层面上。自主—合作学习教学模式是为了适应普通高校教学改革,以健康体育、终身体育、主体性教育为理念而提出的一种新型的教学模式,其主题是终身体育思想,针对新形式下体育教学模式的需要,提出体育教学自主教育模式,从而促使学生最大限度的发掘个性潜质、释放个性能力、增强体育意识和养成终身锻炼的习惯。
