民主既是一个理论问题,同时也是一个实践问题。加强民主制度的研究和建设,对于中国特色社会主义民主政治建设具有重要的现实意义。哲学是推动社会变革和发展的理论先导,哲学的解放的重大意义和着力点是一个值得深入思考的问题。李铁映同志在《论民主》(人民出版社、中国社会科学出版社,2001年)、《哲学的解放与解放的哲学》(《哲学研究》2005年第1期)中对这两个方面都作了系统的阐述,其核心思想和观点与党的十七大报告、《中共中央关于加强和改进新形势下党的建设若干重大问题的决定》的一些提法吻合,至今依然具有很强的研究价值和指导意义。本刊于2010年第8～12期开辟“民主与哲学的解放”专栏,就“党内民主建设”(详见本刊2010年第8期第44～51页)、“发展基层民主”(详见本刊2010年第9期第47～58页)、“学习型政党建设”(详见本刊2010年第10期第34～44页)、“马克思主义与时俱进的理论品格”(详见本刊2010年第11期第36～46页)、“文化的多样性与文化交流”等五个方面组织笔谈。本期遴选推出“文化的多样性与文化交流”主题,约请来自中国社会科学院、国家行政学院、武汉大学等机构的专家学者,就文化交流与文化的繁荣发展、文化自信与文化的交流合作、多样性背景下的文化交流等问题展开研讨,并附上学术界关于文化的多样性与文化交流的最新研究成果。本栏目至本期告一段落,感谢各位专家学者、读者的鼎力支持。
Democracy is not only a theoretical issue, but also a practical issue.
