为提高杉木用材林基地的造林、营林质量,达到速生丰产,我省自一九七九年以来开展杉木适地适树方面的调查研究,取得了初步成果。为使科研成果尽快地转化为生产力,我们对杉木立地类型划分及林地生产力评价方法在杉木造林、经营中的应用作了试验研究,以鉴定方法的准确性、可行性,提出杉木立地类型划分在杉木造林经营中的具体应用方法。应用试验在杉木有林地区与无林地区分别进行。在有林地区主要作立地类型划分方法的鉴定性试验;在无林区主要作方法的应用性试验。有林地试验是1981年在黔东南黎平县进行
