Mineralization law L.deLaunay (1892) proposed, is a branch of geosciences, it studies the law of mineral formation and distribution. The metallogenic model is a popular term since the seventies, and can have its own metallogenic model from ore deposit to metallogenic domain. First, the mineralization model of a large area that is proposed in a complete form and has far-reaching implications is a metallogenic model (1948-1955), in which some of these problems are discussed by examples. (1) Human understanding of minerals is constantly changing in history ; (2) different minerals and their different types can co-occur in nature; and (3) there may be inconsistencies between metallogenic units and structural units. I hereby dedicate this article to Professor Guo Wenkui’s 55th anniversary of engaging in geological work.
