由中国国际减灾十年委员会、中华人民共和国民政部、联合国开发计划署共同举办的中国灾害管理高级研讨班1993年6月28日—7月2日在北京国际会议中心召开。联合国亚太发展培训及通信计划处丹尼斯·哈密尔顿(Dennis K.Hamilton)任研讨班主席。中国国际减灾十年委员会专家组组长王昂生教授,减灾委办公室副主任、中华人民共和国民政部救灾救济司史槐恩专员,联合国开发计划署苗红军先生任研讨班副主席。
An advanced seminar on China’s disaster management jointly organized by China’s International Deuteronomy Decade, the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and the United Nations Development Program was held at the Beijing International Convention Center from June 28 to July 2, 1993. Dennis K. Hamilton, UN APAC’s training and communications planner, chairs the seminar. Professor Wang Ansheng, head of the expert group of China’s International Decade of Victims of Disaster Reduction, deputy director of Office of Disaster Reduction Commission, Commissioner Shi Huai’en of the Disaster Relief Department of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, and Mr. Miao Hongjun of the United Nations Development Program as vice chairmen of the seminar.
