回顾八十年代初,当港、台流行歌曲随着政策开放似洪流涌进大陆时,一度严重冲击了我国的民族音乐,致使民歌成了几乎没有市场的“滞销品”。不少民族音乐的捍卫者曾为此而担忧。然而具有东方悠久文化传统的炎黄子孙并没有被那股流行歌曲的洪流冲迷了方向。象大禹治水那样,他们却把外来流行音乐的洪流渐渐引进了东方民族意识的河床,并使其翻滚起一朵朵彩色的浪花。即出现了溶流行歌曲
