在外语教学中导入中华民族传统文化的问题已经引起许多外语教育研究者的重视。但是,目前我国外语教学中实际涉及本国文化尤其少数民族文化的内容非常有限。民族文化在英语教学中的导入,基本类型有从词汇导入、从听力导入、从阅读导入等;基本途径是通过教材导入、通过多媒体教学导入、通过课外文化实践活动导入等。我国是个多民族统一的大国,蒙古族文化是中华民族文化的一个有机组成部分,它具有与中华民族文化同等的地位。作为内蒙古地区的英语教育工作者,不仅要关注如何提高学生的英语水平,同时也要在传承和传播蒙古族文化方面作出努力。
The problem of introducing Chinese traditional culture into foreign language teaching has attracted many foreign language education researchers’ attention. However, at present, the content of our country’s foreign language teaching that actually involves the national culture, especially the minority culture, is very limited. The introduction of national culture in English teaching, the basic types from the introduction of the word, from the hearing, from the introduction of reading; the basic approach is through the teaching materials, through the introduction of multimedia teaching, through extracurricular cultural activities such as the introduction of practice. Our country is a big nation with multi-ethnic unity. Mongolian culture is an integral part of Chinese culture and has the same status as the Chinese culture. As an English educator in Inner Mongolia, we should not only pay attention to how to improve students’ English proficiency, but also make efforts to inherit and disseminate Mongolian culture.
