在人类社会发展史上,尽管中华文明曾处于领先地位,但由于自然经济的惰性、宗法社会的钳制、专制政治的高压,中国几千年来只有改朝换代的王朝革命,而没有出现经济升级、政治变革、观念更新的社会革命.鸦片战争后在西方商品经济、自由观念、民主政治的猛烈冲击下,中国传统社会才趋于解体,中国才实现“革命”的转换,从循环的王朝革命走向真正的社会革命.“,”Social revolution is the fundamental transformation of social modality. In the history of human society, though Chinese culture had been kept ahead, as a result of the inertia of nature economic, and the suppression of patriarchal clan system, and the high-handed character of despotism and the bondage of reputation idea, China only had the revolution of dynastic changes, but no the social revolution, which result in economic upgraded, politics transformed and idea renovated. After the Opium War, on the fierce impact of the western commodity economics, free idea and democracy, the traditional society began to disintegrate step by step. China achieved the revolutionary transition from the circular dynasty revolution to the real social revolution.
