我市地处杭州湾南岸,地少人多,具有悠久的植棉历史和丰富经验,常年植棉面积在2.67万公顷左右。但随着种植业结构的调整及植棉相对效益的下降,棉花面积呈逐年下降趋势。为了阻止棉花生产滑坡,大力发展各种棉地间作套种模式,以通过提高棉地经济效益来稳定棉花生产。棉花与花生间套是其中推广面积较大,效益较好的一种,1998年全市间套面积约1330公顷。
The city is located in the south bank of Hangzhou Bay, less people and more, has a long history of cotton and rich experience in planting cotton area of 26,700 hectares throughout the year. However, with the adjustment of planting structure and the relative benefit of cotton planting, cotton area showed a downward trend year by year. In order to prevent the landslide of cotton production, various inter-cropping intercropping modes have been vigorously developed so as to stabilize the cotton production by increasing the economic benefits of the cotton field. Cotton and peanut sleeve is one of the promotion of larger, better efficiency in 1998, the city covers an area of about 1330 hectares.
